About Me
My name is Criselle Barton and I teach Second grade here at St. John XXIII. I’m super excited to be part of this wonderful community!
I graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education and also have my Masters in Education in Curriculum and Instruction with an SEI endorsement. I have been teaching for 19 years and I love it! I have taught 3rd, 4th, 5th grades, as well as one year as a gifted teacher for grades 2nd-8th. I have also prepared the teachers of tomorrow as a Field Experience Instructor at the ASU Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College. My last experience was teaching 3rd grade in Tucson at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School for 6 years before coming back to Phoenix.
My husband, Kevin, and I have three children. Liam is in 11th grade, Andrew is in 10th grade, both attend Brophy and Samantha who is in 4th grade here at St. John XXIII! We also have our little Maltese dog, Khaleesi!
